CARETH STEWARD

Looking Forward

So many things to be thankful for.

I have been asked to write a number of words to encourage, inspire and challenge you to grow in your relationship with God, hopefully into a deeper relationship with God.

I have found that from the time I wake up I rejoice that the Lord has covered me through another night and that the day is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice in it. I thank God for the day ahead which scares the devil away and not only blesses God but sets your mind on things above.

So many things to be thankful for. The Lord says to give thanks. I do that and I look forward to the miracles ahead. I know that when married and being a mother, it’s not easy to do this, but do try starting the day off this way.

Music is wonderful for lifting the spirit also especially if you are feeling down hearted.

Prayer time is most important. If you don’t make a determined effort, it can be robbed from you. Not only prayer but when you can sit with the Lord and truly respect, honour and take this opportunity to get to know him and look on his countenance and listen. This is truly wonderful.

It’s something that has to be taken seriously and determined in your heart to do. After a while you can’t wait to be there with Him. The holy spirit calls me to come now.

God gives me a calmness and joy and uses me in my happiness to spread his light around. I’m very calm and can be tremendously encouraging to people as I spread Gods light around. We are to be lights into the universe.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness in all circumstances (Mark 11:25). Forgiveness after being hurt by someone. If you can possibly stop unforgiveness taking a hold and that root of bitterness taking hold in you, it can totally free you and even cause you to love that person. I can vouch for this because it has happened in the most awful circumstances. Praying for them, those that hurt you and love them. It frees you. Jesus forgave.

Inspiration

All of us can inspire in all that we do. Whether it is in spiritual gifts or in our own gifts God has given us. We can inspire with the zest for life in wanting to know God more deeply. Nature is a wonderful inspiration as it has so much beauty. We are all made to inspire those around us.

Challenge

I challenge you all to learn these scriptures below so that the holy spirit can bring them to remembrance when you need to know what God says and to build your faith.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He never changes. His word is truth, the highest form of reality.

The joy of the Lord is my strength – Nehemiah 8:10

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. – Philippians 4:13

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. – 1 Peter 5:7

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. – Psalm 119:105

The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. – Psalm 23:1

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19
