We believe that “mission” is the mandate for EVERY Christ-follower. Our mission field is our school, university, workplace, neighbourhood, mother’s group, or wherever God has ‘planted’ us. We are all ambassadors of Christ carrying His extraordinary, counter-cultural, exuberant good news wherever we go every moment of every day!

• Youthcare Chaplaincy Mandurah: We will continue to support YouthCare in their mission of placing chaplains in our local primary and high schools.


• Community Events: Events such as Solo Mums Day continue to be significant events that allow Eastlake to demonstrate the love of God to our community in a practical way. We will be looking at planning further ways to support our local community in 2010 and beyond.


• Riverside Primary Breakfast Club: This is an invaluable ministry into our local primary school to ensure that every child is provided with a healthy breakfast.

• India: We will continue to support the mission work of IVCM (Indian Village Care Ministry) as they resource and support several orphanages across India. We are also sponsoring 7 teenage boys which provides them with clothing, food, shelter, education and companionship. To find out a little bit more about the children we sponsor click here


• Cambodia: To partner with New Life Foundation Cambodia which ministers to the poorest of Cambodia’s poor through sustainable relief and development work.

     



• Mission Impact Teams: To provide opportunities for the greatest number of people from Eastlake Church and our community to undertake the life changing experience of participating in a short-term Mission Impact Team. To submit an application form to join our Mission Impact Teams click here.
