I am not in a Connect Group – How do I find one?

With the aid of the Connect Group Directory (available at Info Desk) - Identify the groups that you would like to be a part of (men’s, women’s, mixed Bible Connect, Semester Study)…

Contact the leader of that group by telephone to discuss the nature of the group & see if it will suit you.

Or
Fill out an ‘Expression of Interest Card’ & hand it to the Info Desk & the Connect Group Leader will contact you.

Or
Find the Group on the Eastlake Website www.eastlakechurch.org.au and submit an interest request. The Connect Group Leader will contact you.

Can I go to more than one Connect Group?

Yes. If your personal time permits, we encourage you to build as much connection as possible. Some groups will be weekly, fortnightly or monthly… giving you the flexibility to suit your personal lifestyle.

What if I start attending a Connect Group & it does not suit me? Can I Change?

Yes. We encourage you to try a few Connect Groups to discover where you find a sense of connection and challenge in your personal Christian growth.
We would recommend that you keep in contact with the Leader to update them if you are planning a change…

Will a Connect Group be nominated for me to attend?

No. You are aware of your own personal circumstances & needs. All we recommend is that you attend a Connect Group that ‘Fits’ you.

Do I have to go to a Connect Group in my suburb or area?

No. You are free to choose the type, style, time, location of the Connect Group.

Can I start a Connect Group?

We would encourage you to take steps to starting a Connect Group. God has put a passion in every person’s heart – something that energizes them & naturally connects them to people.

We will work with you to establish a Connect Group (some basic requirements to be met prior). Complete an application form & return to Info Desk.

You will then be contacted to discuss the Vision for the Group & Key Attenders who will support the group.
